The Role:
As an Arrears Executive, you will play a crucial role in our collections team, responsible for managing and resolving overdue accounts. This position offers a hybrid working model, with mandatory office attendance every Tuesday and Wednesday. However, during the initial four weeks, you will be required to be on-site full-time for training and induction purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and monitor accounts in arrears to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to negotiate repayment plans and settlements.
- Analyse customer accounts to identify reasons for arrears and assess customers' ability to pay.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and agreements in our systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex cases and improve overall collections processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with collections software.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
