A UK Top 50 law firm, are looking for a talented Financial Litigation Solicitor, to join their national and market leading Financial Disputes team. This is a permanent position, based in their state-of-the-art Bristol office. Notably, this role is suited to a commercially focused Solicitor, who is looking to work closely with high value clients, and progress their career in a Chambers rated top tier team.

This is what you’ll be doing

• Manage your own caseload of high value and complex banking and finance litigation matters (including fraud and international disputes) for banks, building societies and niche lenders
• Deliver excellent service to your key clients, and provide sound commercial advice across a range of high value disputes, including defending reputationally sensitive claims
• Actively engage in business development, with a passion to become a “go-to” Solicitor in the financial services sector
• Develop and motivate more junior members of the team
• Consistently deliver profitable results for both the firm and your clients

The experience you’ll bring to the team

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 PQE
• Experience working on litigation matters within financial services, with a thorough understanding of the CPR
• Experience working in a Top 100 firm, with a commercial background
• Motivated to develop excellent client relationships, with a keen enthusiasm to implement business development initiatives
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines
• A desire to not only develop your own career, but to also assist more junior members in the team to reach their full potential
