The Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment are working with a leading, national law firm, who offer expert advice and support on a broad range of legal services to individuals and businesses based in the UK and overseas. We are working in partnership to recruit into their growing and successful Banking and Finance team. The team is made up of 2 partners and an Associate Solicitor who advise on a wide variety of matters, for both lenders and borrowers.


This is a great opportunity for NQ- 3 year PQE Solicitor who is looking to develop their skills, work alongside leading individuals within the firm, in a collaborative and supportive company. 

This role is flexible and are therefore open to other sectors and will consider candidates with post qualified experience in real estate finance and corporate finance or a NQ who has completed a seat in banking or finance.


This is what you will be doing:

As a Banking and Finance Solicitor in this role, you will:

• Advising on a wide variety of finance related matters, acting for both lenders and borrowers

• Drafting, negotiating and advising our clients on facility documents, security and intercreditor arrangements

• Assisting in project-managing finance transactions to completion and running the CP (conditions precedent) process

• Dealing with post-completion formalities

• Assisting other teams with ad hoc finance queries

• Preparing and agreeing ancillary documents, e.g. resolutions and certificates

The experience you will bring to the team:

As a Banking Solicitor, we are looking for an individual with 0-3 years PQE. This role will require you to demonstrate a supportive, flexible and driven ethos.
