Broker Account Executive

Yolk Recruitment are partnered with a thriving start up company based in Cardiff who are looking for a Broker Account Executive. Are you a motivated individual who is looking for a new challenge, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process loan applications ensuring all required documents are accurate and complete.
• Prepare loan files for underwriting review in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct security check calls with applicants, providing excellent customer service.
• Liaise with brokers throughout the application process.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers and brokers regarding criteria, processes, or specific cases.
• Collaborate with internal teams to find solutions for non-standard applications.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, meeting all relevant quality assurance targets.
• Work with Business Development Managers to identify broker trends and training opportunities.
• Foster strong relationships with broker partners to enhance awareness of product offerings and criteria.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Understanding of the 2nd charge broker market and MCOB rules.
• Working knowledge of T&C Scheme, FCA rules, Money Laundering, GDPR, and Data Protection.
• Preferable experience within the 2nd charge mortgage market; experience in financial services is acceptable.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Team player with a solution-focused mindset.
• CeMAP qualification is preferable.
