Business Development Executive
Yolk Recruitment are working on behalf of a global software company in Cardiff to recruit for a Business Development Executive. It is a development role where you will be given thorough training and support all the way through your journey.
If you have graduated in the last few years and excel in outbound B2B sales, then this is the role for you!
With the world being more digital than it’s ever been, this company provides an all-in-one platform to help you keep on top of everything. You will be working in one of Cardiff’s finest, modern, hi-tech office and starting your journey to being sales manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Business Development experience looking to progress into a management role!
What are the responsibilities as a Business Development Executive?
  • Take full responsibility of the sales cycle including prospecting, product demonstrations and closing
  • Work directly with decision-makers, in all industries, consulting on their media solutions.
  • Work in a team environment to drive revenue growth through consultative sales
  • Consult with companies on how they use news and social media data to inform strategy and decision making.
  • Work towards a monthly sales revenue target, with the ability to earn unlimited commissions.
  • Liaise closely with a mentor to ensure you are continuously developing your sales and leadership skills.
Your skills/ experience as a Business Development Executive?
  • Sales and objection handling experience
  • Phone-based customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Team player mentality with the ability to work independently towards large goals
  • Proven leadership qualities
  • Coachable & self-motivated
  • Preferred but not essential 1 year’s sales experience or outstanding extracurricular achievements
