Business Development Executive

Basic Salary - £30,000

Annual bonus 12.5%

Cardiff (Hybrid 2 days in the office)

Yolk Recruitment are working on behalf of a rapidly expanding software business catering to both public and private sectors, they pride themselves on delivering cutting-edge analysis and management tools. Currently experiencing 40% year-on-year growth, they're in search of a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to join our team in Cardiff.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in a full sales cycle role with a hunter mentality. This candidate should have fantastic communication skills who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving their expansion into new markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Utilize various mediums such as social media, phone, email, and in-person meetings to engage potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records by diligently updating CRM systems.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing support.

  • Strong work ethic, creativity, and exceptional communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for building relationships as the cornerstone of business development.
  • Consultative approach with a natural curiosity and adeptness at asking pertinent questions.

  • Ability to manage a diverse workload, demonstrating initiative in task completion and issue identification.

  • B2B Sales experience
  • Software sales (Ideally)

Benefits

  • Basic salary of £30k

  • Mon - Friday working hours 9-5
  • 3 days paid charity leave.
  • 25 days AL with an extra day added for the person's birthday and BHs off
