​I’m currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a telecoms company based in Birmingham. We are looking for candidates who have at least 2 years experience in a Field Sales/ BDM role in any sector!

You will be responsible for generating your own leads, managing your territory and attending meetings that have been arranged by yourself and the telesales team. You will be field based Monday to Wednesday and in the office Thursday and Friday

Your responsibilities as a Business Development Manager

• New business lead generation through cold calling, networking, referrals and working with existing client base

• Respond to inbound sales opportunities

• Attend regular face to face meeting with new and existing customers, set by yourself and the telesales team

• Develop and manage customer accounts

• Cross sell all products and solutions into existing clients

• Maximise all business opportunities through up-selling regularly

• Maintain CRM system

Your Skills/ Experience as a Business Development Manager

• At least 2 years experience in a field based business development role

• Experience generating own business and finding own leads

• Highly pro-active

• Be driven, determined & self-motivated

• Strong relationship building skills

• Be able to work as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent listening skills

• Able to identify, generate and close new business

• Flexible approach to meet business requirements

• Display a sound knowledge, understanding and empathy of a customers business

Benefits to you

• Salary of £25,000

• Car Allowance £3600

• OTE Circa £60k

• 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

• Immediate start

• 20 days holiday + BH (rises each year)
