I am recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager within the telecoms industry to join a communications/ IT business based in Swindon. This company have a fantastic culture with a people first/ family feel environment.
As a Business Development Manager you will be generating your own leads, prospecting new businesses, networking, looking for referrals and using social media to build relationships with new clients.
We are looking for someone that is based in the South West and is happy with occasional travel into Swindon, you will be managing your own time and workload.
Ideally, experience within telecoms/ business communications would be ideal but if you have other business development experience with an interest in how technology can help businesses, we also want to hear from you!
What will I be doing as a Business Development Manager?
Consistently deliver against business targets including GP, Connection Revenue, new customers and meetings attended.
Perform proactive prospecting to self-generate leads through telemarketing, email, social and networking channels.
Manage the full sales process from lead to close – including pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
Work closely with operations and delivery teams when new solutions are being implemented to ensure a good customer experience.
Full use of our CRM for pipeline management, data quality and take up of marketing and order capture and processing.
What skills and experience do I need?
Business Development Manager background
A minimum of 3+ years in IT/ Telecoms sales
A proven track record of sales experience and hitting targets
Must be new business focused
Ability to work on own initiative
Passion for self-development and desire to learn about IT and technology
Excellent communication skills across all business levels
What will I get in return?
Salary of up to £35,000 a year
OTE of circa £24,000 a year (depending on performance)
Car allowance of £4200 a year
24 days holiday + BH
Pension (above standard rate)
Yearly company bonus
