Business Development Manager
Our Client have been opening doors for customers for over 30 years being one of the biggest manufacturers of fire safe and security doors. Designed & manufactured in the UK, the hard working team will make your project a success - from enquiry, design and manufacture through to managing the final installation. They're driven by progress and innovation; with doors that are manufactured to the highest standard.

This is what you’ll be doing

They are looking to bring in a regional business development manager to spearhead the growth of their client portfolio going forward. As the Regional BDM (predominantly field based) your role would be to develop and manage new business opportunities. You will be responsible for growing your allocated area (The South) as well as managing and retaining the existing client base and report to the sales director.

  • You would be accountable for the Identification of new sales opportunities and self-sourcing new prospects.

  • Build strong long-term relationships with new customers to generate repeat business in the future.

  • Identify key influencers and decision makers within potential client businesses.

  • Record all customer interactions and activities within the CRM.

  • Delivery against the sales strategy and sales targets for your region (The South)

The experience you’ll bring to the team
  • Knowledge of the Industrial door market is desirable but not essential.

  • Ideally atleast 2 years Field sales / BDM experience

  • Ability to work alone in a conscientious manner and show structure in your work.

  • The ability to build relationships with clients quickly.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Resilience and tenacity, Independence.

  • A full driving licences.

  • Business hours of 9-5 Monday-Friday
