BUSINESS METHODS ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £35.03 PER HOUR - BPSS - BROUGHTON, FLINTSHIRE - 12 MONTHS - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS - 3/4 DAYS ONSITE PER WEEK
Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Business Methods Engineer to join our client within the ADS industry in Broughton, Flintshire on a 12 month contract.
The Business Method Engineer is tasked with deploying, maintaining, and supporting reliable, efficient, and integrated production solutions for Operations to achieve industrial excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Test Solutions: Create and test Core ARP solutions in alignment with the Broughton Industrial System.
- Cross-Functional Interface: Serve as a liaison between the ARP Core Team and other departments such as Work Preparation, Configuration, Lineside, PPE, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, and Quality.
- Document Best Practices: Record and standardize best practices for Wing Assembly within ARP.
- Evaluate & Improve Solutions: Assess and critique solutions adopted by the ARP team, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
- Align Methods & Processes: Ensure methods, processes, and documents are aligned with the central organization and cascade new methods into the business.
- SAP Support: Provide support for SAP systems, investigate root causes of issues, and propose solutions.
- Process & Data Management: Sustain, harmonize, develop, distribute, and train on Processes, Methods, Tools, Competences, and Data Management.
- Team Support: Coach, communicate, and facilitate with operational teams.
- Lead PLM Projects: Oversee the manufacturing aspects of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) projects, including the development of new PLM solutions for end-to-end digital continuity from Engineering to Shop Floor.
Required Experience:
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Aerospace Background: Experience in the aerospace sector is highly desirable.
- Autonomous & Team-Oriented: Ability to work autonomously when required while being a strong team player.
- SAP Proficiency: Essential experience and understanding of SAP systems.
- Business Processes Knowledge: A keen interest in developing knowledge of wider business processes and functions.
