Defence Capture Manager

Salary £70,000 - £95,000

Role clearance type: You must be able to gain and maintain UK Government clearance to SC Level

Location: Remote / Flexible

About Your Opportunity:

Our client deliver mission critical capability into the UK armed forces and for export, this role will Identify, capture and position our client for winning opportunity within the Defence C4 and Future Combat Air accounts, driving growth against a set of business objectives. You will engage internal and external stakeholders to identify growth areas within existing customer accounts, and new business from within the C4 and Air domain. You will lead opportunity capture, ultimately positioning our client as a global leading solution business through expertly shaped business winning proposals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify, shape & lead our clients team to winning strategic growth opportunities
  • Demonstrate a strong desire, to influence and shape existing/new customers, enlightening them to capabilities
  • Manage internal resources to get the most out of the BD and technical/delivery teams
  • Be confident to present to a variety of customers and stakeholders innovative approaches to solving requirements.
  • Represent more senior BD and Delivery/Account management staff as and when to continuously promote their expertise.

Your Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in successful business development
  • Defence Capture Management experience is a must
  • Highly competent at presenting complex requirements to a broad range of professionals within the business.
  • High levels of organisation and focus across CRM (Salesforce) and bid pipeline tools, alongside an ability to write vibrant and powerful reports that secure senior proposal sponsorship.
  • Able to translate strategy and vision into action, driving business growth across NG partners
  • An inspirational, motivated individual, acting as a catalyst for change and leading colleagues in the capture multiple revenue threads in time critical situations.
