Change Contractor - £700 per day inside ir35 - Reading - Part time contract (2 days a week) - 3 months (extensions likely) - Sector: Green Energy
Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a change contractor to working with a world leader in sustainable technology, green research, and clean energy production.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a digital transformation strategy with the business key functions. The Change Contractor role is to provide advice & support to the R&D Data Readiness Lead, to help shape the short and long-term change strategy, with the agile delivery and successful adoption of digital platforms, including the ELN (Electronic Laboratory Notebook) and SDMS (Scientific Data Management System).
Responsibilities:
- Review the complex programme landscape for a data-centric R&D and complete the "benefit profiles" for each project i.e. to outline the benefits and expected outcomes.
- Determine a set of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that track and report on the change transformation process.
- Input into regular change review meetings and support the resulting action plans.
- Analyse the change approach with specific focus on change fatigue. Suggest and implement strategies of how to prevent change fatigue going forward.
- Identify how the companies organisational culture affects the entire R&D process and how this impacts the Labs of the Future KIP.
- Review content and provide constructive feedback for the communications that support change messaging.
- Support the change maturity of the team and R&D function.
Core Skills:
- Recognised change management qualification
- Extensive experience of change methodologies, principles & tools e.g., ADKAR, Kotter
- Experience of applying change methodologies in the research space
- Experience of planning and managing business, people, and organisational culture, to understand the impact of change.
- Experience of engaging with multiple stakeholders across all levels in the context of implementing cultural change
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in FTSE 100 company
- Previous experience within a scientific focused industry
