A Top 100 law firm is looking for a motivated Paralegal, to join their highly regarded Clinical Negligence in their Bath office on a permanent, full time basis. Notably, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience with a Legal 500 Clinical Negligence team, and to work alongside leaders in this field. Hybrid working is also available.

This is what you’ll be doing
  • Provide legal support to a Partner within the Clinical Negligence team, and be given the opportunity to run your own matters when appropriate
  • Undertake fee earning tasks under the management of qualified lawyers, and escalate any complex issues to the Partner
  • Provide excellent client service at all times, and act as a key point of contact between the client and the firm
  • Manage Clinical Negligence files under supervision, including liaising with courts, arranging meetings and obtaining legal documents
  • Liaise with clients over the phone, email, letter and face to face
  • Provide administrative support for business development activities, and attend dinners where appropriate with the Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers
  • Carry out general administrative work, including extensive diary management, audio typing, photocopying and portal managements
 
The experience you’ll bring to the team
  • Experience in a clinical negligence paralegal or legal assistant role is preferred, however in-depth experience in personal injury will also be considered
  • LLB or CILEx is desirable
  • A real interest in Clinical Negligence is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent organisation skills are essential
  • A strong team player, with excellent communication skills
