​CMM Quality Technician

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum plus benefits

I am proud to bring to market this unique and brand-new opportunity for an experienced CMM Quality Technician working with one of my global manufacturing clients based in Oxford. This client is working with me exclusively and requires a CMM Quality Technician forming part of a highly successful Quality team. This role reports directly to the Quality Manager where you will be operating the CMM equipment and performing measurement, in process inspection, annual product layout and testing of film work.

Ideally you will present solid experience of working within the Automotive Industry aside of experience of measuring production materials, components, fixtures and gauges.

As CMM Quality Technician you’ll be

• Maintaining aspects of the current quality and measurement inspection systems, to ensure quality tools are used to secure conforming products and processes.

• Produce documents and reports on non-conforming materials as required.

• Coordinating the Measuring Machine (CMM)

• Working within the site to ensure products, processes & systems conform to customer specific requirements and industry best practices.

• Identify improved systems of work, through the continuous improvement system

• Work within the company’s Health & Safety Policy

• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment

• Identify your own particular needs that contributes to your own future development

• Conduct and attend relevant meetings as and when required

• Ensure that all of the work practices throughout the business are completed in accordance to IATF 16949 and ISO14001 procedures

 What you’ll bring to the team

• 1-3 years of related experience as a CMM Quality Technician or relevant engineering qualification

• Excellent communication skills

• Enthusiasm, commitment and drive to succeed and grow
