CNC and Manual Machinist

£30,622 - £36,090 + Bonus

Yolk Recruitment is exclusively managing a new opportunity for a Programmer Setter and Manual Machinist to join this industry leading engineering business with a international reputation for producing the best work in their field and a local reputation for being an employer of choice.

This is what you will be doing as a Programmer

• Programming of CNC 3, 4 and 5 Axis turning machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions.
• Completion of all documentation and record labour bookings

This is what you'll be doing as Manual Machinist

• Manual turning, milling, grinding
• Machining components to customer specification
• Routine machine maintenance and general housekeeping
• Care and calibration of measuring equipment

The experience you'll bring to the team as Machinist

• Experience turning, milling, grinding using manual machinery.
• Experience setting, operating and programming turning machines.
• Ability to read off engineering drawings.
• confident in using measuring equipment.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance.

And this is what you'll get in return as Manual Machinist

• 39 hours per week, 6 - 2 and 2 - 10.
• Early finish on Fridays
• Quarterly bonuses
