CNC Machinist - Setter Operator

Port Talbot.

£35,000 + Bonus

Yolk Recruitment is exclusively managing a new opportunity for a CNC setter operator on lathe machines to join this industry leading engineering business with an international reputation for producing the best work in their field and a local reputation for being an employer of choice.

This is what you will be doing as a CNC Setter / Operator

• Set and operate CNC lathe machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions.
• Carrying out multiply set ups in one day.

The experience you will bring.

• Confident in adjusting speeds and feeds.
• Ability to work towards tight tolerances.
• Previously used measuring equipment.
• Recognise and escalate defaults during run times.

• 2 shifts working. 6AM-2PM & 2PM-10PM
• Early finish on Fridays
