Yolk Engineering is exclusively managing this rare opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter to take the step into the role of Production Engineer with a high profile engineering business. You’ll continue to utilise your experience on and off the shop floor and will be given a structured training and development programme to help you to bridge any gaps and reach your potential in this role.

This is what you’ll be doing

​

• Offline CAD/CAM programming

• Online programming, setting, proving a process and first offs

• Creating SOPs and Work Instructions

• Contract review

• Tooling specification, review and improvement work

• Working with colleagues on improvement projects e.g. H&S, cycle time reduction, tooling selection, process flows.

This is what the successful Production Engineer will need

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines

• An understanding of manual machining

• £32,000 - £36,000 salary, reviewed annually
