CNC Programmer/Setter


£31,000 + OT + bonus


Yolk are proud to be the recruitment partner of choice for this leading high precision manufacturing business as they continue to thrive. This is an opportunity for a time served CNC Programmer/Setter with good knowledge of fanuc controls to join a professional organisation with a strong team culture, offering security, training and development and interesting work with varied complexity.


This is a three shift role working 6-2, 2-10 and 10-6, and overtime is readily available for those who’d like to make the most of their earning potential.


This is what you’ll be doing


Your role will be to:

  • Set, run and program CNC machinery, milling and/or turning

  • Inspect components with the equipment provided to ensure that they meet the drawing tolerances stated, to the quality required

  • Meet quality requirements

  • Work with other areas of the business as appropriate


The experience you’ll bring to the team


  • Essential: previous experience Setting/Operating CNC machinery.

  • Programming experience is advantageous but not essential

  • An apprenticeship is advantageous
