Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to work with one of the world's leading aerospace and defence companies.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across several cutting-edge projects that are pushing the boundary of aerospace technology.

Responsibilities:

• Business Strategy - maximising identified business opportunities.
• Business Winning - Being a key player in the winning of new work. Responsible for the full Route to Contract, including being the driving force during the Bidding process, ensuring cross functional working to deliver costs in time, generation of proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Contract Delivery - Being a vital part of the delivery chain that ensures the company meets its promises to our customers.
• Negotiations - Gaining acceptance and agreement on issues and amendments to ensure contractual compliance
• Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, focusing on collaboration.

Core Skills:

• A confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable building working relationships.
• Analytical in approach.
• Experienced working in an in-house contract team, use to working with contract and negotiating with customers.

Desirable Skills:

• A legal background
• Experience working with the Aerospace & Defence industry
• Hold a current SC security clearance
