Yolk recruitment are working with a Top 50 full-service law firm, seeking a motivated and talented lawyer to take on an active and client-facing role in the commercial team. As a newly qualified commercial solicitor, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and work alongside experienced lawyers in a friendly and modern office. This successful team has a proven track record of advising on some of the UK's largest projects and boast an impressive client base that includes major procurers, project funders, established technology-rich businesses, and innovative start-ups.

What you will be doing as a Newly Qualified Commercial Solicitor:

The role will involve supporting the team on large-scale commercial contracts and projects, handling your own caseload with appropriate supervision, and supporting other teams with due diligence and ancillary related commercial, IT and IP arrangements. At this firm, you will have the opportunity to find your niche within the commercial world!

The experience you will bring to the team:

As a newly qualified commercial solicitor, your experience will probably have been acquired at a firm where you have been involved during training and post-qualification in general commercial work (including contracts for goods and services, manufacturing, distribution, franchising and agency arrangements as well as less conventional agreements). Additional experience (an interest in) IP, technology, data protection, and public procurement would be useful.
