Solicitor – Commercial Property

Ledbury/ Stroud and home working flexibility

The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NQ+ Commercial Property Solicitor to join an expanding team. This ambitious top Legal 500 practice is a regional law firm that offers legal services of national quality. This is a full-time permanent position with the requirement to work in the office a few days a week. This firms’ offices are located along the M4 corridor including locations such as Ledbury, Stroud and Cardiff. The successful candidate may be required to assist at other offices when necessary. The Commercial Property team recognises the importance of a work life balance.

This is what you will be doing:

  • Joining a team of highly regarded property lawyers that work with commercial clients

  • Working self-sufficiently by taking responsibility for your own case load whilst collaborating with the Head of the Department

  • Managing a case load of non-volume, local work working closely with your clients

  • You will be required to prioritise work and meet deadlines

  • You will be required to engage in business development and cross refer clients through the firm

The experience you will bring to the team:

  • A qualified Lawyer (CILEx, Solicitor)

  • You should have demonstratable knowledge and technical expertise in dealing with a typical commercial property case load

  • Experience in Commercial property / Real Estate work is essential

  • Excellent academics

  • You must be a team player

  • You should have excellent IT skills, with ability to use data management systems and the full Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent business development skills are essential, with ability to cross-refer and gain new work
