Commissioning Engineer - up to £650 per day inside ir35 - 6 months (extension highly likely) - fully onsite working - Hertfordshire - one stage interview - Sector: Green Energy
Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer to work with one of the world leaders in sustainability technology, new green energy, and manufacturing.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the leaders in green propulsion and at the forefront of the sustainable transformation.
Reasonability's:
- Deploy and promote safe working practices in planning and execution of commissioning activities, ensuring that safety is considered as a priority by both the company and contract personnel in all commissioning activities.
- Support EPC commissioning activities and ensure coordination with the company's installation and commissioning activities.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise the commissioning and handover activities of the company's vendors within a commercial scale green energy plant.
- Plan, and coordinate the commissioning support of Operations, Maintenance and Sector Technical teams.
- Communicate and provide regular updates on progress to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Ensure awareness of the project budget and communicate and resolve with the Project Management team any non-budgeted expenditures.
Core Skills / Experience
- Considerable experience as a Commissioning Manager within a process industry
- Experience of successfully leading a team in a complex environment
- Chemical Awareness / COSHH
- Experience acting on the client side with EPC contractor would be preferable.
Desirable Skills:
- Extensive experience as a commissioning manager required.
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical, FMCG or rolled goods industry.
