About the role
The post holder will be a key member of the Trust’s Communications Team and will be expected to act as the lead specialist for Internal Communications and managing upcoming events
What you’ll be doing as an Internal Communications
The post holder will be required to develop proactive working relationships with the Trust Board, the Trust Board’s Executive Team, the Senior Management Team, and more widely with staff across the Trust, as well as with Welsh Government and other stakeholders.
The post-holder will improve and protect the reputation of the Trust and ensure that patients, public, staff and other stakeholders have confidence in the services deliver.
The post-holder must support the Trust’s media relations activity, working closely with the Board, staff and journalists to optimise the organisation’s media profile and ensure that highly complex and sensitive issues are dealt with in an open and constructive manner, minimising reputational damage.
Supporting the organisation, delivery and evaluation of events/visit including Awards.
What you’ll bring to the role as an Internal Communications Specialist
Experience of working on the development and subsequent implementation of internal communication solutions.
Experience of developing and delivering effective internal communication plans
Experience of providing internal communications advice to senior leaders
