Complaints/Compliance Officer

A great opportunity for a Complaints/Compliance Officer to join a fast growing, dynamic and innovative organisation, that are committed to continuing growth and development within their organisation. As the Complaints/Compliance Officer you will provide excellent claims service whilst resolving complaints and negotiation of claims settlements.

As a Complaints/Compliance officer you will be responsible for:

  • Actively managing complaints effectively within specified timescales and in accordance with complaint handling procedures.
  • Daily review of new complaints, ensuring distribution to the team and handling within company policy, aligning with expertise and authority levels of staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with Lloyds and FCA regulations.
  • Cultivating a culture of communication and staff involvement.
  • Investigating the root causes of complaints and identifying trends, proposing recommendations for system improvements or training requirements.

If you are a Complaints/Compliance Officer that has:

  • Awareness of and adherence to all Compliance matters, such as Disability Discrimination, Data Protection, Proceeds of Crime, and Risk.
  • Integration of TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) into the organisational culture, consistently promoting it.
  • Representation of the correct values and culture of the group.
  • Support for Health and Safety initiatives by highlighting issues.
  • Commitment to personal development.
  • Provision of relevant MI to managers at all levels, presenting findings where appropriate.
