Compliance and Risk Officer

This is what you’ll be doing

• Point of contact for all customers within daily banking requirements
• Look into risk-based oversight activity in line with annual risk and compliance plans including testing, planning, reporting and key stakeholder
• Provide input into risk and compliance reporting to all internal committees
• Challenge and influence key stakeholders throughout the business
• Undertake ad hoc independent reviews at the request of management and the Board;
• Produce and analyse core MI for input into reporting to all internal committees including ORCC, Risk Committee and Board;
• Continually seek ways to improve the efficiency of the department and proactively implement improvement initiatives;
• Support the Data Protection Officer in the provision of regular monitoring and oversight activities of key data protection procedures including data breaches and data subject requests

The experience you’ll bring to the team

• Strong financial services background
• Previous experience within compliance or risk
• Excellent analytical skills
• Degree qualified or equivalent
