Join a company that believes in doing things the right way - for our people, our products, and our planet.
Our client designs and manufacture innovative workplace spaces and supports productivity. Proud of their heritage, but even prouder of where they are going - and sustainability and compliance are at the heart of that journey.
Looking for an ambitious Compliance & Sustainability Officer who's passionate about making a real impact. If you're eager to learn, keen to develop your expertise, and want to play a key role in driving positive change within a leading manufacturing business - this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This is what you'll be doing
As their new Compliance & Sustainability Officer, you'll support a wide range of compliance projects, help shape their sustainability roadmap, and become a trusted internal expert.
Work closely with our Business Improvement team to meet compliance goals, support audits, and drive sustainability initiatives across the business.
Develop a deep understanding of industry standards and legislation, representing with external bodies and accrediting organisations.
Ensure all products - new and existing - comply with relevant environmental and safety regulations in the UK and abroad.
Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure policies, training, and data are up to date and aligned with current standards.
Lead or support the creation of Environmental Product Declarations, Product Environmental Datasheets, and Health Product Declarations.
This is what you'll bring to the team
As our Compliance & Sustainability Officer, you'll be someone who loves learning, is great with people, and wants to make a difference.
A solid foundation of experience in a business or manufacturing setting (1-3 years is ideal, but we're open-minded).
A genuine interest in sustainability, compliance, and how businesses can do better - environmentally and ethically.
Great communication skills - written and verbal - with the confidence to work across teams and build relationships.
Comfortable managing your own time and juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
Happy to roll up your sleeves and take ownership of projects, even when you're outside your comfort zone.
This is what you'll get in return
We believe people do their best work when they feel valued. Here's what you can expect from us:
A competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per year
Flexible working arrangements and a supportive hybrid working environment
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
A strong focus on learning and development, including opportunities for external training
The chance to make a real difference in a business committed to sustainability and innovation
