This new opportunity has been created playing a key role within a cutting-edge business. You will be part of an organisation offering ground breaking products to key industries.
Reporting directly to the Compliance and Training Manager your role as Compliance Lead will be to support the Organisation and site in maintaining compliance of the quality processes whilst meeting the requirements of the regulators. You will also play an active role in supporting and developing a team of seven, driving the site’s inspection readiness along with the continuous improvement of the site Quality Management Systems.
As Compliance Lead you will be…
Ensuring all Quarterly Conversations and performance reviews are completed on time
Develop the team through provision of training and mentoring, including good operational knowledge of the business.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment
Chair/attend all relevant departmental site meetings as requested
Ensure that all aspects of the QMS are maintained and completed as per procedural requirements; complaint logging and investigations, supplier management, document management, CAPA management, internal audit schedule and execution, technical agreement management, management of change control processes, archiving of GMP documentation, management of QMRs, management of customer audi scheduling and manage regulatory inspection scheduling
Actively participate, coordinate and manage the QA input on various project groups relating to GMP areas served by the function
Work with the training function to ensure site-wide compliance and individual training needs are met
Support trend analysis and risk assessment processes which ensure long term supply remains compliant with specifications
Use tools and methodologies such as FMEA, HACCP and any other appropriate techniques as required.
Interact with both internal and external stakeholders from Senior Management levels including heads of operations/quality at suppliers as well as day to day operational suppliers
The experience you’ll bring to the team will include…..
Demonstrable experience of working within the pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry
Relevant experience in Quality Assurance
Excellent IT skills to include Work, Excel and Access experience
Science-based degree or equivalent
Attention to detail, quality focussed and methodical
Analytical and investigative skills
Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English and capable of adapting language to the situation or audience
Good organisational skills and ability to manage changing priorities
