Control Engineer - £370 per day inside ir35 - Hertfordshire - Highly Hybrid - 18 to 24 months (extensions likely) - Sector: Green Energy / Manufacturing

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a control engineer to working with a world leader in sustainable technology and clean energy production.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the completion of an alarms rationalisation programme to meet EEMUA 191 requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Alarm management for the sites, in line with EEMUA 191.
• Identify and facilitate remedial work on nuisance alarms.
• Chair alarm rationalisation meetings with site operational team.
• Roll out company alarm management standard and software.

Core Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to program PLC (Allen Bradley, Omron)
• Experience with Alarm Management
• 5+ years of industrial work experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Instrumentation & Process Control

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in managing and leading long-term programs
• Experience with SCADA packages. Wonderware is preferred but similar packages are acceptable.
• Engineering degree, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical, Control or Instrumentation
• Experience within a chemical industry.
