A well-established and highly reputable law firm based in Newport are looking for an experienced Conveyancing assistant to join their growing Residential Property team. You will be joining a top 10 ranked welsh law firm, working alongside experts in this field. Notably, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for progression in their career as this firm offer internal training contracts!
This is what you’ll be doing
- Provide administrative support to the fee earners within the residential property department
- Deal with daily conveyancing matters, including file opening and closing, taking instructions and drafting letters
- Land registry searches, applications and form submittals
- Transcription via audio dictation
- Work using a case management system
- Handle confidential information
The experience you’ll bring to the team
- Experience within residential conveyancing in essential
- LLB/LPC/GDL/CILEx is desirable
- An understanding of dictation and accounts ledges is desirable
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent client care and interpersonal skills
- Good communication is essential
