A highly regarded high street Law firm are looking for an experienced and personable Conveyancing Legal Secretary, to join their thriving Residential Property team. This is a permanent full-time position, based in Kingswood.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join a supportive firm who are eager to progress driven individuals through CILEx and training contracts, if they desire. Alternatively, they can progress you to a Senior Secretary position, if you do not wish to qualify.

This is what you’ll be doing

•Hit the ground running in a team that operate on a high-volume basis, built on their excellent agent and client relationships

•Support a Solicitor in assisting with their caseload of residential property matters from cradle to grave, including freehold and leasehold purchases and sales

•Providing excellent service to clients, estate agents, lenders and other Solicitors, to ensure the firms first class reputation is maintained

•Keep all parties updated throughout the whole process, via the phone and email

•Efficiently use the Land Registry to perform searches

•Set up appointments, diary management, file opening and closing and accurately maintain the database

The experience you’ll bring to the team

•Previous experience as a legal secretary, within property law

•Excellent IT skills and typing

•Client focused, with excellent communication skills

•Organised with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

•An LLB law degree is desirable if you wish to progress through a training contract or CILEx, however this is not essential for this role
