About the Company:

Responsibilities:

Manage the credit control function, including chasing outstanding debts and resolving payment discrepancies.
Assess credit risk and establish appropriate credit limits for customers.
Negotiate payment terms with customers and address billing queries in a timely manner.
Monitor debtor balances and ageing reports to identify potential issues and take proactive measures.
Generate and distribute monthly statements and reminder letters to customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to address customer credit-related issues and disputes.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on outstanding debts.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar credit management role, preferably within manufacturing.
Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
