Cyber Security Engineer | Remote | Up To £60,000

Yolk Recruitment is supporting a client who are looking for a talented Cyber Security Engineer to join their dynamic and fast-growing organisation! The ideal candidate will be technically skilled and responsible for delivering hands-on cyber security services and ensuring the smooth operation of the Security Operations function. This role requires a highly technical professional with a deep understanding of attack and exploitation techniques, and the ability to respond to security incidents and breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Cyber Security Team to provide resilience to threat monitoring and response capability.
• Set up, monitor, and track remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Implement and undertake security assurance activities, such as attack simulations and vulnerability exploitation.
• Monitor risk to assets and ensure compliance monitoring is in place.
• Develop policies, processes, and procedures for the Security Operations Team.
• Mentor less experienced team members and lead incident response teams.
• Provide security consultancy for other projects and programs.
• Implement User Behavioural Analysis and social engineering tooling.

What you'll bring to the team:

• Good understanding of M365 security stack, Azure, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud, Security centre and advanced threat hunting.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM and SOC processes and procedures.
• Experience with MS Sentinel (SIEM).
• Hands-on experience using cyber attack modelling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint detection and threat management products.
• Knowledge of global Information Security Standards, including ISO27002, CIS, and NIST CSF.
• Experience as a member of a global SIRT.

• AZ-500
• SC-400
• SC-200
• SIEM certification
• CEH
• CompTia Sec +
