Data Engineer - up to £600 per day inside ir35 - 12 months (extensions likely) - Gloucestershire - DV cleared project - one stage interview - Sector: Defence / Technology

Yolk Recruitment are on the lookout for a DV cleared data engineer to work with a cutting-edge institution pushing the boundaries of there industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on key projects that will have a positive impact on the country and wider global community.

Responsible:

• Communicate to and between technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as facilitate discussions within a multidisciplinary team.
• Undertake data profiling and source system analysis and can present clear insights to colleagues to support the end use of the data.
• Support the design, build and test data products that are complex or large-scale.
• Ability to design an appropriate metadata repository and present changes to existing metadata repositories.
• You understand the concepts and principles of data modelling and can produce relevant data models across multiple subject areas. You know how to reverse-engineer data models from a live system.
• You understand industry-recognised data modelling patterns and standards and when to apply them. You can compare and align different data models

Core Skill:

• Strong data analysis and synthesis
• Must be currently DV security cleared.
• Experience with data development processes
• Experience with metadate management
• Data modelling experience

Desirable Skills:

• Understand the impact of emerging trends on the organisation in data tools, analysis techniques and data usage.
• Experience supporting / building teams to complete data integration services.
