Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Data Engineer to join one of our large insurance clients in an exciting project to redevelop one of their key projects technical systems.
You will be building and scaling-up a data warehouse to provide insight and analytics for the wider company.
Reason for the Role:
Expansion of the company and Data Team
Responsibility’s:
- Take ownership of the design and delivery of a new datawarehouse, encapsulating an end-to-end process
- Build and implement analytics and BI solutions that can be scaled for repeated use
- Create and enhance ETL scripts and SISS package that handle up and downstream data feeds
- Maintain the datawarehouse and keep it running quickly and efficiently
- High level SQL / TSQL experience
- High level data visualisation using Power BI, SSRS or similar tools
- Experience with ETL / ELT pipelining, SSIS, Microsoft Flows or similar
- Experience in Python or R coding languages
- Experience working with third party API’s
- Knowledge of tubular data modelling within SSAS
- Experience working with AWS or Azure
