​Database Developer

Cardiff / Remote

Up to £43,000

This is the chance for an experienced database developer to join a well know and essential company in Wales that is doing fundamental work to ensure the health and safety of the environment and its customers. You will play a key role in providing solutions for the organisation as part of a high-functioning data team.

As a Database Developer, this is what you’ll be doing

• Develop and provide solutions for the organisation, contribute to challenges on a range of projects 

• Extract, manipulate and interrogate data

• Work as part of a team but also be trusted to work individually when needed

• Design effective technical solutions 

As a Database Developer, the experience you’ll need to bring to the team

• Experience in a database development role

• Well versed in SQL

• Demonstrate experience of ETL ideally with both on-premise and cloud but not essential 

• Knowledge of data warehousing principles 

• Experience of normalisation and relational databases

As a Database Developer, this is what you’ll get in return

• Salary up to £43,000

• Flexible working and will have further remote working post covid, applicants from further away will hopefully be able to be onsite fortnightly/monthly
