What the DBA Developer will be doing
Our client is looking for a DBA Developer who can Design, estimate, implement, plan and test new database systems, as defined by the project portfolio.
- Design and deliver coding solutions, by choosing appropriate design principles and techniques to use within the technical framework defined by the architecture team
- Analyse, estimate and prioritise work items to achieve the best outcome
- Provide administration, monitoring, and performance tuning of operational and test database systems
What the successful DBA Developer bring to the team
A successful DBA Developer will be someone who has • Deep knowledge of the SQL Server platform, relational databases, and SQL.
- Experience and understanding of cloud concepts and database solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience of investigating and diagnosing technical problems in complex business systems
- Experienced in data analysis, data modelling, database design and optimisation including normalisation / de-normalisation, indexing, partitioning, query tuning, and designing for concurrency
