Project/Delivery Manager - £500-£550 OUTSIDE IR35 - 3 months (extensions possible)
Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team are working with a unique organisation that works closely with local Councils.

We are supporting them to recruit for Project/Delivery Managers who will take lead on a number of new initiatives from the discovery phase, through to completion.

This is an ideal role for any project or delivery manager who has experience in full lifecycle project delivery, and can work effectively in agile methodologies.

What the Project/Delivery Manager will be doing.
You will be leading the discovery phase on one of four new projects that are aimed at improving the ways local government functions.

• Lead the discovery and research phase of a new project
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Implement and manage ways of working, continuous improvement, and process management
• Identify, manage and mitigate risks and issues
• Effectively manage dependencies and integration with other programs

What the successful Project/Delivery Manager will bring to the team
You will have experience running project from end-2-end, good knowledge of the discovery phase of projects and ability to work to an agile methodology.

• Proven experience as either a Project or Delivery Manager
• Knowledge and experience of the discovery phase of a project and defining the scope
• Good experience in project management and delivery
• Creative problem solving skills
• Great communication skills and stakeholder management ability
