Design Engineer - Systems installation

£40 per hour inside ir35

Bristol - Hybrid (2 days onsite)

12 months (extension highly likely)

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a design engineer with systems installations experience to work with a world leading aerospace and defence company that is on the cutting edge of aerospace technology and design.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading aircraft systems and designs across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have systems installation experience and be a competent designer/CAD engineer.

Responsibilities:

• In this role you will support varied activities across the 'end to end' design process including:

- Conceptual design

- Current product modifications

- Support to manufacturing sites

- Support to in service support and continued airworthiness

Core Skills:

• Experience in a Design Engineering role with Systems Installation experience
• Competent user of Catia with experience of configuration toolsets i.e., PASS, DPDS, VPM, ICC
• Be able to provide a flexible approach to varied activities

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in the aerospace sector
