The Opportunity

This is the opportunity to join a leading IT Cloud Services companies who have delivered exceptional, award winning service to small to medium enterprises for over 25 years. Headquartered in London but with a global client base, this company have exciting growth plans and are seeking an experienced client facing Development Consultant.

The Role

Working heavily within the Microsoft technology stack, they are now seeking candidates with a deep knowledge of the Office 365 platform, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to get close to clients, unlocking improvements to customers businesses using Microsoft technologies and custom solutions build on M365 and Azure.

The projects that you will deliver will require you to design solutions to meet the customer needs – some typical projects might be business process automation using serverless workflow technologies and could be delivered using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions and the Microsoft Power Platform; data capture solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint Framework React components; serverless functions to perform data extraction and ETL tasks or customer portal applications delivered using Azure App Services and a web framework talking to the Microsoft Graph. You will be working alongside other specialists in the team such as data or SharePoint consultant.

Required Skills

The successful applicant will have these essential attributes:

• Experience with .NET Core and React

• Willingness to deep dive into Microsoft development technologies across the board of M365, Power

• Platform and Azure

• Ability to evangelise for the role of development within the business and showcase how it can deliver

• value for customers

• At least 5 years professional IT experience in MSP or IT consultancy organisations

• Able to work directly with customers to specify and design a solution

• Experience of working with project managers as part of an agile delivery

• Able to lead other developers

• A measured and cautious approach well suited to corporate client environments

• A flexible approach to working, comfortable with working unsupervised at customer sites in a

• consultancy capacity

• Excellent written, documentation, and verbal communication skills

• Ability to assist with writing scopes of work and contributing to bids for project work

The following attributes would be advantageous:

• Achieved or working towards the following Microsoft Certifications - AZ-204 & Microsoft Azure

• Developer Associate, MS-600 Microsoft Developer Associate

• Understanding of the SharePoint Framework

• Experience in Azure, ideally including Logic Apps, Functions, App Services.

• Understanding of DevOps approaches, especially Github and Azure DevOps

• Able to mentor more junior members of staff and grow their development skills

• Experience or knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform

• Experience working in an MSP, SI, or short term contracting
