This is what you’ll be doing as Test Engineer
You will organise, build and test new and modified products to test specifications and methods defined by the development engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing, troubleshooting and repair of products .
- Pre-testing, troubleshooting and repair of PCB assembles to component level.
- Ability to follow circuit diagrams and test specifications.
- Ability to solder surface mount and through-hole components.
- Ability to follow an 8D approach to full root cause analysis of problems found and to complete an 8D report.
- Ensure all work carried out meets the production standards in place for the company.
- To use the company computer system and applications e.g. Excel, Word
- Undertake occasional customer visits in UK and abroad to witness problems in system and to troubleshoot and repair.
- To be adaptable to change in work load. 10. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
The experience you’ll bring to the team
- A degree or HNC in an Engineering Function.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in an Engineering field.
