DevOps Engineer up to £44,000 / Senior up to £57,000- Hybrid (1 Day a Week in Newport)

The Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a really interesting Civil Service Organisation who are presently undergoing cutting edge digital transformation projects.

We are supporting them to recruit either a DevOps engineer or Senior DevOps engineer, with CI/CD pipeline experience, Azure knowledge and scripting abilities.

What the DevOps Engineer will be doing
You will be working with the DevOps enablement team working closely on facilitating the large digital transformation the company are undertaking.

• Build efficient custom delivery pipelines
• Support the software development lifecycle
• Contributing to technical decisions and directions in a collaborative team environment
• Work on the efficient use and integration of DevOps toolings

What the successful DevOps Engineer will bring to the team
You will have a good understanding of DevOps principles, having worked in an iterative improvement environment, with knowledge of automated testing.

• Experience using Azure DevOps.
• Some scripting experience.
• Understanding of DevOps principles.
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipeline toolings
