.NET Software Engineer

A growing Fintech company based in Newport are looking for 2 x .NET Software Engineers to join their team. They build an API software product that is used by global financial clients to credit check businesses up front and continually through complex automated software that interacts with a number of 3rd party data sources on large scale to ensure secure lending. 

The company have just had a huge investment from a well known Fintech investor so have a roadmap of greenfield projects linked to the financial sector for the coming year.

This is what you'll be doing

• The .NET Developer will develop a number of products that use APIs to process large volumes of data autonomously from multiple sources. 

• The software is hosted on a SQL Azure platform and there is a road map of green field projects for clients over the next year that will have the developer kept busy and learning new ground breaking technologies to keep the company at the forefront of its market.

• The .NET developer will also be part of the strategy, planning, implementation and deployment for all existing and new clients.

The experience you’ll need to bring to the team

• C#

• ASP.NET

• MVC

• SQL Azure

• Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

• Experience building APIs using SOAP/XML and REST

• Experience with use of NoSQL, ElasticSearch and other database and big data technologies would be beneficial but are not essential as the company will look to offer training and progression routes to use these technologies.
