Draughtsman - CAD Technician

This well-established engineering business manufactures high quality bespoke engineered products, and is part of a successful global organisation supplying a broad range of industries globally.  A new opportunity has been created for a Draughtsman / CAD Technician to join an experienced team, providing product and application support in a CAD intensive role, producing models, drawings and BoMs. 

This is what you’ll be doing

You’ll be working with 3D CAD packages to produce models, drawings and prepare bills of materials.  Working in a close knit team you’ll prepare and control drawings for manufacture and work with production engineering, sales and customers to deliver high quality work.

The experience you’ll bring to the team

Mechanical Engineering knowledge / qualification

A good working knowledge of 3D CAD – AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo or Inventor

Experience producing engineering drawings

And this is what you’ll get in return

A generous salary depending on experience, £25,000 - £30,000
