Education Solicitor – Central Cardiff - £42,000 - £50,000

Award winning Law firm are looking to recruit an experienced Education Solicitor to join their busy and successful team in plush offices in central Cardiff. The firm are willing to train an individual with a solid grounding in Commercial litigation.

This firm cover a broad array of legal fields for both individuals and businesses which include; wills, tax and planning, family, employment, mental capacity, corporate & commercial, commercial property, employment (businesses) and disputes.

This is what you’ll be doing

The successful candidate will manage and maintain their own varied caseload which will require them to provide advice on education law issues for independent schools and academies, as well as advising head teachers, bursars, Trustees, Governors and other professionals on an array of issues surrounding safeguarding, exclusions, bullying, discrimination and parental complaints.

Further to this it will be necessary to draft school policies and contract documentation between parents and the schools, whilst ensuring that regulatory requirements are met.

The experience you’ll bring to the team

The ideal candidate will have 1 years + PQE and ideally have experience working in the Education Law field, although Court of Protection will also be considered.
