Yolk are partnered with a Bristol based Research Technology company, helping them find an electrical design engineer who is able to start a new role by mid - end September.

The electrical design engineer will help revolutionize access to the oceans through the development of cutting-edge technologies. You will need to be a creative and enthusiastic individual.

Responsibilities:

• Development of electrical subsystems and elements.
• Creating prototypes and conducting trials for equipment
• Generating designs, outlines, and illustrations to facilitate a seamless transition from design to production.

Skills required:

• Sensors and interfacing
• PLCs and control systems
• Competent using CAD
• Experience of design to class society rules and recognised design codes
• Experimental design and testing
