Yolk Recruitment is working with a leading manufacturing company to find a Maintenance Engineer who will provide a reliable and efficient maintenance service to production departments. This role is based in Tewkesbury and requires a flexible approach to working time, the ability to work in a team and provide excellent customer service. The role is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe working environment through compliance with health and safety policies and regulations, with a focus on machinery safety, risk assessments and safe working practices.
• Deliver a high-quality maintenance service that reduces downtime and increases productivity, while complying with planned preventative maintenance schedules and using root cause analysis to drive reliability improvements.
• Perform facilities and buildings maintenance to provide a safe working environment.

Essential Criteria:

• Multi-skilled with experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Good knowledge of facilities, buildings, and maintenance, including experience with scheduled maintenance to minimize unplanned breakdowns.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, management and vendors at all levels.
• Experience in a reliability approach with focus on root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of the plastics/extrusion industry and the machines used in its production.
