Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrical Fitter to join our client on an initial 12 month deal working from their major site in Bolton.

Responsibilities: As the selected Electrical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and testing tasks within the electrical department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Certifying products in accordance with Product Certification procedures.
• Demonstrating the ability and willingness to certify your own work in line with the company's quality standards.
• Maintaining product certification and approval through regular audits.
• Applying versatile skills across a range of tasks.
• Utilizing equipment, tools, and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
• Meeting manufacturing build, inspection, and test times.
• Checking and completing all paperwork in the manufacturing data pack.
• Upholding workmanship standards and product quality to the highest level.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures in the manufacturing process.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to a good housekeeping policy.
• Contributing to an environment of continuous process improvement.

Role Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

• Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
• Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent.
• IPC 610 certified/trained (preferred).
• Experience in electrical wiring and assembly.
• Previous experience in the aerospace or defense industry (desirable).
• Manual handling training.
• Lifting and slinging (including overhead cranes) training.
• ESD training.
