Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 (+ bonus)

Shift: days (M-F)

Our client, a leading manufacturer supplying products to a wide range of market sectors is looking for two Maintenance Engineers with good PLC programming experience to join their existing Maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with PLC programming experience to join a market leader that is committed to enhancing equipment performance and providing clear development opportunities for their workforce. This client is about to embark on significant growth plans which will see major transformation projects therefore there is the opportunity of significant regular overtime paid at enhanced rates bringing realistic earnings to circa £55,000.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Preventative and reactive maintenance fault finding on electomechanical equipment
• Working with PLC systems for fault finding and improvements/ adjustments to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• Ensuring that production targets are met using the appropriate technical support in the correction, prevention and elimination of technical problems
• Driving the move from a reactive culture to an improvement culture enhancing equipment performance and reliability

The skills and experience you'll bring to the team:

• Ideally level 3 related qualification
• Proven experience with PLC Fault Finding and understanding of ladder logic within a production environment
• Siemens experience as well as Scada would also be ideal or a willingness to train on these systems.
• Familiar with Rexroth Servo motors and Indra drives. Experience with Inverters and 3 phase motors also required.
