The Electrical Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, efficiency, and safety of all site equipment. You will be working directly alongside a Senior Engineer who is due to retire in the next 5 years and will undertake training on various parts of the role including Electrical Surveys, Calibrations and customer specific requirements.

In the role you will be working days 8-4 and will be responsible for performing surveys, calibrations, and preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment running smoothly.

Essential Criteria:

  • Formal training through an engineering apprenticeship
  • Broad experience in maintenance in heavy engineering environments
  • Familiarity with CMMS packages
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and support production activities.
  • Execute maintenance tasks in compliance with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Undertake effective fault-finding and rectification of plant and equipment failures.
  • Maintain positive relationships with other departments within the company.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency and reliability.
