Electrical Technician

Yolk Recruitment are exclusively working with an established Manufacturer who, due to their current performance have increased their order book and as a result are going through substantial investment allowing for the introduction of 2 new production lines. Due to this expansion, they are now looking to grow their team with an additional Electrical Technician.

The client is an internationally recognised manufacturer with sites across the world who are known for an extensive training capability and a very competitive benefit package compiled with a great culture on site.

Founded over 115 years ago they now have over 1000 employees worldwide with an average length of service of 10years .

As an Electrical Technician this is what you'll be doing

In the role of Electrical Technician you will be working on day's Monday to Friday with a salary of £38,000 + Site bonus (circa £1000) and overtime paid at time and a half and double time on Sundays.

You will report to the Site Engineering manager and will be responsible for covering both proactive and reactive maintenance routines on both facilities and production equipment in a timely manner adhering to all Health and safety requirements.

• Provide Electrical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant.
• Utilise a range of PLC software to fault finding and repair production equipment.
• To ensure maximum machine availability, through effective planned preventative maintenance schedules.
• Together with other plant engineers and team leaders, actively strive to ensure that your time is orientated towards achieving machine maintenance hours on planned work
• Installation of machinery and site services equipment.

The experience you'll bring to the team.

• You will be time served Electrical Technician ideally with an Electrical Qualification (NVQ or HNC).
• Have a good knowledge of PLC fault finding through I/O' and software including Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Worked as an Electrical Technician for a minimum of 2 years.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
